INTO THE DEEP — my first season
My first season of robotics, ever. Team 13245 went 11–5 and won the Design Award at the Athens–Marietta League Tournament.

Starting from zero
I joined Apollo in August 2024, in 10th grade, without much engineering knowledge — FTC was my first experience with robotics. This season is where I first learned how our team brainstorms, CADs and builds robots together. I expected to print pieces for our robot, and I did — I helped design and print arm pieces, lift mechanisms and much more.
In December 2024 our robots appeared somewhere unusual: Fashion Meets Tech, a runway show where they drove alongside the models. I walked the runway in our team shirt — and on stage, the trophies I had designed were handed out to the graduating models, with our robot holding one out itself.
Design Award
The Design Award recognizes industrial design — form and function working together. Our 2024–25 robot earned it at the Athens–Marietta League Tournament (January 25, 2025) after a 5–0, 5–0 start to the league season.
